Baltic Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Communication Research (INVENT) is a scientific research NGO, which unites scientists mainly working in the fields of innovation, technology transfer, e-business, intellectual property and knowledge development. INVENT is actively engaged in European and national scientific projects, focused on contemporary e-developments and their social, legal and political outcomes. INVENT team constantly monitors e-development in Lithuania and other new EU member states as well as other Eastern European states, provides qualified comments on latest and most important issues, takes part in public consultations and working groups focused on information society and knowledge economy development in Lithuania.

INVENT team is experienced in implementation of international scientific projects: succesfully participated in several EU level projects: eInclusion, eUser, eTen, eSkills, MeAC, PHARE and Twinning projects in Lithuania (budget >100 000 EUR) and significant number of smaller projects.
